For those attending the Toronto Excursion, there are three public transportation options.

Flights from Toronto to Ottawa. Approximately $190 – $400 CAD.

VIA rail train from Toronto to Ottawa. Approximately $60 – $200 CAD.

Bus from Toronto to Ottawa. Leaving from either Scarborough(1 hour from downtown Toronto) or Union Station (downtown Toronto). Approximately $30 CAD.

For those attending the Montreal Excursion, there are three public transportation options.

Flights from Ottawa to Montreal. Approximately $150 – $500 CAD

VIA rail train from Ottawa to Montreal. Approximately $40 – $70 CAD.

Bus from Ottawa to Montreal. These buses will take you to either Dorval (30 minute drive/public transit ride to downtown Montreal) or Laval (40 minute drive or 30 minute public transit ride to downtown Montreal). Approximately $30 – $40 CAD.

For those attending the Library and Archives Canada Preservation Centre excursion, there are two public transit options and the address is: 625 Bd du Carr, Gatineau, Quebec J8T 8L8

You can take a taxi which will take approximately half an hour. You might have trouble catching an Uber in Gatineau, Quebec. Some taxi companies are Blue Line, Capital Taxi, and Taxi Loyal.

You can take public buses and trains which would take approximately 1hr and 40 mins and involve three transfers.
